Joe Andres, 31-year-old Steve Buskimi’s wife, a prominent filmmaker and dance designer, died. She was 64.
Boskmi was photographed participating in her funeral, which included the wicker casket, Wednesday morning in Brooklyn, New York. “Big Lebowski” co-star in Buscemi, John Turturro, and his cousin, star “Sopranos” Aida Turturro, were seen visiting the house. Firemen from Buscemi have shown their respect.
The cause of death was not released as Steve Buscemi Wife Jo Andres.
The couple married in 1987, and Andres recalled in 1996 her film “Black Kites”, which was playing in Sundance, Berlin and Toronto and broadcast a television show. The Anders website describes the film, based on the 1992 newspapers of the Bosnian visual artist Alma Hajarik, who was forced to enter a shelter in the basement to escape the siege of Sarajevo, as “non-linear, dreamy and spectral.”
