New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution in connection with a Florida health resort linked to an international human trafficking ring, police said on Friday on Robert Kraft Charged.
The NFL owner was charged for paying for sexual services at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter.
The health resort was among 10 closed in Orlando, Palm Beach and Treasure Coast after a month-long investigation revealed that women were in “sexual slavery” according to the arrest records.
Police announced on Tuesday the arrest of two women on charges of prostitution, extortion and money laundering, and said nearly 200 others would be arrested on charges of soliciting as Robert Kraft Charged.

On Thursday, Police in Vero Beach announced the arrest of eight other suspects linked to three massage centers, as well as about 200 men who had asked for prostitution.
Police confirmed on Friday that Robert Kraft was involved in the bust.
He confirmed the existence of video evidence on all accused men.
Asked if he was surprised by Robert Kraft arrest, President Kerr said: “We are as stunned as anyone else.”
“Our concern in this investigation is focused on victims of human trafficking,” Kerr said. He said authorities were working with translators to obtain information and help those who were trafficked.
