James Gunn apologized profusely when the tweets were highlighted by extreme right-wing personality Mike Cernovich, one of the main men behind Pizzagate, a false conspiracy theory claiming that Hillary Clinton runs a sex ring for children in a pizza cellar as James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
Deadline reports Disney changed her mind about the shooting months before his meeting with James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy 3, but the only decision that has just been announced.
The move comes months after the initial controversy over the shooting, which came in response to a campaign similar to the game of Gamegate to expel him from the film. At the time, James Gunn expressed regret for the tweets that were several years old and said he was trying to be funny but he crossed the line to bad taste for James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
The company never met any other managers, despite suggestions that New Zealand’s Taika Watty was about to replace it. He sang his enthusiasm to return to the project on Twitter and said:
I know many of the people who followed my career when I started, looked at myself as provocative, produced films and told jokes that were horrible and forbidden. I also discussed publicly several times, as it evolved as a person, as well as my work and sense of humor.
That does not mean that I prefer, but I am quite different from what I was a few years ago. Today I try to get to my work in love and communication and less angry. My days I say something just because it’s horrible and trying to get a reaction are over.
In the past, I apologized for a comic that hurt people. I really felt sorry and I mean every word of my apology.
